The All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide its Notification no. 37-3/Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 1-07-2009 has taken a very serious view of ragging incidences in educational institutions and on Directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its Order dated 16.5.2007 has ordered strict implementation of following rules & regulations for Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in technical Institutions. CONSTITUTION OF Grievance Redressal Committee

Establishment of Grievance Redressal Committee in the Institute and Appointment of OMBUDSMAN by the University. (As per All India Council for Technical Education (Establishment of Mechanism for Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2019 vide F. No.1-101/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 07.11.2019)

AIM:

In order to ensure transparency by Technical institutions imparting technical education, in admissions and with Paramount Objective of preventing unfair practices and to provide a mechanism to innocent students for redressal of their grievances

ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES:

• Each Technical institution shall establish a registry, headed by an employee of the institute of appropriate rank as the Ombudsman may decide, where an aggrieved student or person may make an applicant seeking redressal of grievance.
• The address of the registry so established shall be published widely including on the notice board and prospectus and placed on the website of the institution.
• Students and Faculty Members can send their grievances to : depstar.grievanceredressal@charusat.ac.in
